Morning Prayer For Divine Protection To Start The Day

Almighty God, my fortress and shield, today I place myself under the shelter of Your mighty wings and the protection of Your unfailing love. You are my refuge and my stronghold, the God in whom I trust completely.

As I step out into the world, I ask for Your divine protection. Surround me with Your hedge of safety and cover me under the shadow of Your wings. I do not know what this day may bring, but I know the One who holds it.

Keep me from harm, danger, and every hidden trap of the enemy. Shield my heart from fear, and let Your presence go before me and be my rear guard.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. – Psalm 91:1

The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. – Psalm 121:7–8

Protection For My Family

Protect my family and loved ones, Lord, covering them with Your blood and surrounding them with Your angels. Guard our relationships, our health, our finances, and our future.

Protect our going out and our coming in. I declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment shall be condemned.

Let Your angels encamp around us and deliver us from all evil. Guard our homes, our travels, and every place we step foot.

When the enemy comes like a flood, raise up a standard against him. Help me to be vigilant and alert, putting on the full armor of God so that I can stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. – Psalm 34:7

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. – Isaiah 54:17

Praying For Discernment

Heighten my spiritual senses today so that I may discern between what is of God and what is not. Give me wisdom to avoid situations that could bring harm, and courage to stand firm when I must face difficult circumstances.

I pray for protection over my thoughts, that they may be pure and holy, guarded from the lies and deceptions of the enemy. Protect my words, that they may bring life and not death, healing and not harm.

Surround my steps with divine favor and let Your presence go before me to make crooked paths straight and rough places smooth. I ask for protection over my workplace, my home, my travels, and every relationship I will encounter today.

Let Your peace that passes understanding guard my heart and mind, and may Your joy be my strength throughout this day. Station your angels around me and my loved ones, and let them encamp about us to deliver us from every form of evil. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
